Pump station PS BU07 is located at the former Deeragun sewage treatment plant site at the end of Kayleen Court in Burdell. This major pump station was constructed to pump sewage from parts of the Deeragun and Burdell sewer areas to the upgraded Mt St John sewage treatment plant; via a DN250 pressure main to the common DN300 rising main in the North Shore development, then a DN600 pressure main to the sewerage treatment plant.

This project consisted of supply and construction of approximately 950m of duplicate DN450 pressure main from PS BU07 to the DN300 common rising main near PS BU02; including a crossing of Saunders Creek, and connections to the existing DN300 pressure mains at each end. The crossing of Saunders Creek was achieved using directional drilling under the creek to minimise any environmental impact.
