This project involved the construction of a sewerage pump station at Monica Street, east Innisfail; and supply of an emergency generator and solar shade structure. Before the installation of the new sewerage pump station at Monica Street, there was an existing sewerage lift station.  This lift station was turned into a zero manhole that discharges into the new sewerage pump station, which then pumps the raw sewerage up to a new 100mm PVC rising main installed by Johnstone Shire Council.  The new pump station consists of a 2.0m diameter x 6.5m deep FRP sewerage pump station with a standby generator and a shade structure, installed on a footpath in an existing residential area.
